Rockingham County Courthouse – New Hampshire Superior Court and Probate Court
Banwell Architects was hired to provide complete architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of a 4-story, 100,000 square foot courthouse, that could be expandable to 170,000 square feet, for the State of New Hampshire.
The project includes nine courtrooms for NH Superior Court and Probate Court with associated offices, a sallyport, and holding cells, as well as related county agencies. Particular attention was directed to meeting the strict functional requirements of a diverse group of users while maintaining levels of security and accommodating future growth.
