Ingrid Nichols of Banwell Architects spoke at the 2012 Traditional Building Conference on July 25, at The Exchange Conference Center in Boston, MA. She was joined by Art Reeves of Marvin Windows and Liz Pritchett, a historical consultant, and they featured the Windsor Village Housing project in Windsor, Vermont. They spoke about the energy efficiency upgrades to the project including a biomass wood pellet boiler, water conservation measures, energy efficient lighting, and building envelope upgrades including new windows and how these features were in keeping with the historic structure.
