Banwell Architects Client of the Year was unanimously voted as Cardigan Mountain School. Banwell has worked with Cardigan Mountain School for decades and most recently are working on a new dorm named McCusker Dorm. As our client of the year we offered a day of volunteer service with our entire team. The school asked us to clean up a trail that runs along the lake of the campus that had been overgrown. As a team we were up to the task and created a clean trail for the students and teachers to be able to enjoy. The school was generous enough to invite us to lunch and recognize Banwell’s hard work. We value our relationship with the school and team members and look forward to working together on more successful projects in the future.
The McCusker Dorm project involved design services for a roughly 15,000 to 16,000 sf (28) bed student dorm, including at least four faculty apartments. Extensive site work is required, including construction of an interior campus loop road extension, parking areas, sewer and water main alterations and connections, and underground electrical power and communications cabling. The building is scheduled to be completed this year.
