Ingrid, Jules, Cris and Charlie have teamed up to be Banwell’s downhill ski racing team for 2014! Every Thursday night from January through March, they will be gearing up and heading to Whaleback ski area in Lebanon/Enfield to tear up the course. There are over 50 teams of four and the racing starts at 7pm. We each do two runs, and race against other teams in the league. Ginny Frankenstein is still the gate starter and taught Ingrid how to ski when she was two years old! Banwell’s team started in the C division, but we were quickly brought up to the BF, “B – Fast”, division and we do much better if we do not stop to get beer in between the two runs! Go BANWELL!!!!
