Rarely do we get a request to build an old-fashioned, non-digital model. Recently however, the Okemo Mountain School requested a model of their new Fitness Facility designed by Banwell Architects. It took a little time to find and dust off the old hand tools, but after a few days, we learned that we actually could still to use an X-ACTO knife without causing significant injury to anyone. The resulting work reminded us of the allure of a physical model: few people can resist the urge to peek in close and imagine themselves standing in front of the future building.
