Even with a terrible snow storm the Newmarket residents came out and approved the $39 million bond to renovate both the Junior/Senior High School and Elementary School. The bond needed 60 percent to pass and received an overwhelming 74 percent!
Banwell Architects was hired for Pre Bond Architectural and Engineering services to develop conceptual design alternatives to meet the facility and educational needs of the Newmarket School District to present to voters for approval of a bond. Phase 2 services include Banwell developing a proposed scope of architectural services and fees for final design and construction administration services for submittal to the Newmarket School Board for review and approval.
This was a true team effort and we are thrilled that the residents of Newmarket will be getting their schools upgraded after all of the hard work.
