Last month, Banwell Architects had the privilege of visiting high school students enrolled in the RISE career discovery program at Champlain Valley Union High School in Vermont.
The students were treated to an informative tour of the building, which underwent a renovation designed by Banwell Architects in 2009. They learned about the building’s unique architectural features and the design principles behind them. Additionally, Banwell Associate Tim Olson gave a brief presentation, sharing his journey to becoming an architect and offering insights into the various career paths within the field.
It was truly inspiring to see the students’ enthusiasm and curiosity, and we hope this experience ignites a lasting interest in architecture for many of them.
Shout out to the one and only Jules Chatot, a past partner at Banwell Architects, who was the principal in charge of the project.
