Adimab

Banwell’s design for Adimab’s new biologics discovery and engineering facility at 11 Lafayette Street transforms an existing wood and timber-framed office building into a state-of-the-art environment for laboratory, office, and conference use. This multi-phase project introduces a new main entrance, elevator, and loading dock, which enhance accessibility and functionality.

The building’s exterior has been upgraded with modern insulation, larger windows, and a combination of metal and phenolic siding that reflects Adimab’s innovative brand identity. Inside, Banwell Architects collaborated closely with the mechanical design team to implement high-performance systems, ensuring optimal efficiency. Lab specialists were consulted to strategically configure lab workspaces and equipment within the existing building footprint. Conference rooms and offices feature expansive storefront systems that open them visually to the corridors, supporting Adimab’s culture of collaboration and transparency.
