The Derryfield School Dining
The Derryfield school is an independent day school for students in grades 6 through 12. Banwell Architects was hired by Eckman Construction to design a new dining hall addition to the recently completed Athletic and Wellness building.
Features of the project include:
- Dining hall designed to seat 340 occupants
- The dining hall features exposed glue laminated timber trusses and a beautiful gas fireplace
- A covered porch extends across the entrance front, which can allow for outside dining
- A servery which features a pizza oven and multiple serving stations
- Full service kitchen and dish room
- Restroom facilities
