Construction is almost complete for Barre City Place which is a mixed use, four-story, 80,000sf building on North Main Street opposite Depot Square. The building includes historic detailing including brick and local granite detailing to fit in Barre’s historic downtown district. Relevant to 20 Summer Street; developing this fast track building with DEW Properties has given Banwell Architects important insight and background to sensitive infrastructure and permitting issues in Barre’s core downtown area. Banwell Architects Principal Jules Chatot is a native of Barre which added to the significance of this project.
