We are all being asked to do more for less cost. Offering flexible design, project delivery and financing alternatives provides our education clients more choices and opportunities. Banwell has been doing this with a variety of performance contractors for years. We had the privilege of presenting the Full – Service Performance Contracting alternative to our facilities operation’s partners earlier this month at the Northern New England Facility Masters Conference in Concord, New Hampshire.
The conference, hosted by the New Hampshire Association of School Business Officials (NHASBO), provides career development and professional training for school operations officials throughout New England. Together with Energy Efficient Investments (EEI), Banwell reviewed the many successful school renovation projects we have partnered on throughout the area over the past decade. The approach proposes financing alternatives, and offers advantages afforded by performance contracting along with all the education design experience and resources Banwell Architects brings to this collaborative process.
By leveraging Banwell’s education design expertise with EEI’s engineering and contracting team, this method can be a deep dive into sustainability options that can offset traditional financing burdens of school improvements. By enhancing student comfort and improving educational environments, we enrich the learning experience and enable improved student achievement.
